They installed my new parrot hands free car kit incorrectly, at first, and could not have been any more accommodating in getting it right the second time.  They picked me up from work, dropped me back off at work and were just super friendly guys.  My car kit now works and I would recommend them.

I randomly stopped into Famous Motor Grupe to get Blue Tooth in my car.  I know nothing about cars, and this isn't the kind of place I would ordinarily be drawn to, but still, the guys at FMG were really helpful and informative, and very nice to me (and not in a patronizing way at all).  They installed Blue Tooth at a totally decent price, and did the work while I waited.  I found the level of customer service to be excellent.  I was greeted immediately when I walked in, and, having worked in retail for years, I completely demand that in a business. If I walk into a place and stand around without being acknowledged, I leave.  Not the case at Famous.  I would definitely recommend these guys to friends (and Yelpers) for car audio work and anything else car related as they are professional, attentive, and really know what they're doing.

Admittedly, I am not a mechanical person.  I have been gifted with the ability to easily assemble Ikea furniture, but anything to do with cars, I am a like a fish out of water.  I am a Sirius owner, and for the longest time had my receiver located on the top left of my windshield which probably isn't the safest place to put it since it's right by the side curtain airbags.  The SO got mounts that put our radios closer to the climate control console, and hence safer.  

I went to Famous Motor Grupe to get the mount installed.  They charged my $45 for something that probably took them 10 minutes to do.  I'm not complaining,but, dude, it was a little pricey.  The mount does the job, however it makes a rattling sound now which is a little annoying.  

They do a lot of custom audio/video, post-market modifications for cars, so if you're looking to get some stuff done, this might be a good place for you to check out.

Great customer service, great knowledgeable staff, and beautiful showroom. I walked in with the intention of being blown off like all the usual car audio shops. Famous Motor Grupe gives you a vibe that they want to help you with what you want in your car. I got a bluetooth installed by them and love it. These guys are great people and very helpful at the same time. Thanks alot guys!!

This is a good case of the little guys prevailing over the corporate chains.  I needed a dash kit and wire harness kit for a do-it-yourself installation I was not too eager to tackle.  After attempting to get my materials from Solder-City (sorry, a throw back to the days when Circuit City was infamous for crap installs and soldering connections in lieu of actually crimping and splicing...) with no success I turned to Famous.... and after talking to Vince decided their $50 was worth my not having to crawl under another dashboard again.  Having been in the car audio game in the past I found the staff to be knowledgeable and friendly....and I'm not one to turn over the reigns of audio installations on my own car very easily!

I like this place.  They're the third mobile install place I've dealt with over the years, and by far the best.  The people I talked to there seemed honest and knowledgeable.  They weren't random high school kids looking for a random job--they were people who actually know shit about car audio.

And I like how open their shop is.  Like, the installers are easily accessible if there's a question that the salesguy doesn't know.  And the salesguy I talked to was pretty familiar with their products, too.  It seemed like he either used to do installs or he still helps out, which makes things a lot smoother.

I have no complaints about the install job for the alarm I got here.  Everything works perfectly, and I haven't noticed any scratches or broken plastic bits or missing screws or anything.

My only complaint is that it seems like the markup on the products they sell is pretty high.  I don't have much to base it on, but I feel like they charge twice over invoice for DEI alarms (not including the install--just the alarm itself).  But that might be normal for all I know.

So as everyone had heard about the new "Hands Free" law that will become in effective as of next month.  I've been wanting to take my car in for a bluetooth installation since I heard about the new law couple months ago, but never really had the time.  I finally had some free time & decided to take the car in last weekend.  I didn't know where to go & remembered I had heard about Famous from a co-worker of mine & decided to give it a try.
I took the car in on Saturday & I was amazed at how the place looked.  It wasn't just one of those car stereo installation places you normally see.  The set-up of the place & atmosphere was very high end but yet, it didn't make  you feel intimidated like you didn't belong.  I believe they were having their Midnight Madness that weekend & I was able to not only get a bluetooth for my car but I also had my amp replaced.  Now, my music sound a lot better & I won't have to be paranoid about hidden cops around the corner every time I talk on the phone while driving.  All thanks to Famous Motors Grupe!  You guys made it easy &  best of all, you got the job done fast considering you had your Midnight Madness sale and I am very satisfied!  Thank you once again!

This would definitely be the place I recommend if your car needs a new system, windows tinting, etc.  I've been to this place about 4 - 5 times & I'd  have to say everyone there are awesome!  From the sales guys to the installers, everyone are well trained to solve any problems you have.  The first time I took my car in, I was pretty skeptical of the new place/workers because they seemed pretty young & I wasn't sure if they knew what they were doing. After a talk w/Vince, he gave me a whole lot of good advice on what kind of system was right for my car & most importantly; my POCKET!  
The first impression is the most important when it comes to customer service & I can guarantee you, FMG do not lack of that at all!  They will answer any questions you have & leave you with no doubt on leaving your car in their care!  If you are still having doubts about taking your car there, I'd say just go for it!  After all, it doesn't hurt to try right?  Good luck & I, once again-guarantee you won't be disappointed!
